July 18th — July 24th:

Monday:

  • Brunch: 3 egg-whites on toasted whole grain roll
  • Snack: Rice Works brown rice chips
  • Dinner: Chinese take-out: Sauteed tofu with garlic sauce and brown rice

Tuesday:

  • Breakfast: Great Grains cereal with soy milk
  • Lunch: Zone Bar
  • Snack: Light tuna salad on a Wasa cracker
  • Dinner: Mom’s turkey burgers with broccoli

Wednesday:

  • Breakfast: Oatmeal with an apple, walnuts, and soy-milk
  • Lunch: South Beach protein bar
  • Dinner: Five Guys cheeseburger and fries

Thursday:

  • Breakfast: Great Grains cereal with soy milk
  • Lunch: Light tuna salad on a piece of whole grain toast
  • Dinner: Ravioli & salad with balsamic vinegar

Friday:

  • Breakfast: Chocolate-Banana-Almond smoothie
  • Lunch: Zone Bar
  • Dinner: Mom’s chicken provincale
  • Snack: Blueberry-Tart fro-yo

July 11th – July 17th:

Monday:

  • Breakfast: Peanut butter & 1 banana on a piece of 5-grain bread
  • Lunch: Can of light tuna fish mixed into spinach lettuce topped off with balsamic vinegar & sunflower seeds
  • Snack: Orange
  • Dinner: Dad’s grilled pork loin & grilled zucchini with a bit of Mom’s homemade macaroni salad
  • Snack: Baked apple with cinnamon and oats

Tuesday:

  • Breakfast: Oatmeal & banana with soy milk
  • Lunch: Zone Bar & large cup of fro-yo
  • Snack: Multigrain tortilla chips
  • Dinner: Dad’s grilled salmon & Mom’s sauteed broccoli

Wednesday:

  • Breakfast: Oatmeal with strawberries, a banana and soy milk
  • Lunch: Mango Chobani yogurt
  • Dinner: Mom’s Chinese style beef with oyster sauce and string-beans
  • Snack: Green grapes

Thursday:

  • Breakfast: Chocolate-banana-almond smoothie
  • Lunch: Light tuna salad on multigrain tortilla chips
  • Dinner: Chinese take out: Chinese eggplant & chicken with garlic sauce
  • Snack: 1 orange & LOTS of Great Grains cereal

Friday:

  • Breakfast: Oatmeal with blueberries and almond milk
  • Lunch: Zone Bar
  • Snack: Half-serving of chocolate-banana-almond smoothie
  • Dinner: Mom’s sweet and sour chicken with rice

Saturday:

  • Breakfast: Chocolate-banana-almond smoothie
  • Lunch: Lemongrass chicken Lean Cuisine
  • Dinner: Chicken & mushroom rice bowl
  • Snack: 2 slices of real New York pizza!

Sunday:

  • Breakfast: Egg-whites and cheese on wheat bagel
  • Lunch: Chicken meatball with sauce
  • Dinner: Mom’s Cod & Halibut ginger curry stew
  • Snack: Bowl of raspberry sorbet
