The Raison D’Être of “Sweaty in Pink”

7 Jul

Let me first start off by prefacing that I have no legitimate reason to blog. I’m not coming on here to woo you with promises that reading my blog will vastly improve your well-being – you know make you healthier/skinnier/prettier, or perhaps even that it will change your outlook on life. Come to think of it, reading my blog might in fact bore you, annoy you, and frankly be a waste of your time.

So, to all of you who have so generously continued on to reading this paragraph, I presume you might be wondering what brings me here. Well then, without further ado, let me formally welcome you to my blog and begin by introducing myself! I’m a twenty-one year old college student from New York who loves to write and loves her life. Like really, really loves her life. So, now do you understand why the seemingly simple idea of having a place to be able to write about my life seems oh-so-appealing to me?

You’ll soon see that the three things which encompass a large part of my life are fitness, food and having fun. So, in a nutshell, that’s what my blog will be all about. But, mostly I just want a place where I can share my day-to-day doings and thoughts so that in years coming I can look back at and remember all of this. I’m soon-to-be embarking on a journey of applying and going through law school, so in the midst of all the seriousness and stress that’s bound to come my way I want to make sure I stay grounded and use my blog as a way to not only remember the big-picture kind of things that occur in my life, but also the little things. The things that make me love my life so much.

Welcome to the bloggy blog world! I have been blogging my daily adventures for 3 years and recently started a strictly food blog. It’s a quick read with me posting my culinary creations. I just like to photograph and remember the dishes I have cooked up and maybe inspire anyone along the way with ideas for their meals.

I look forward to following your journey!
